Bhubaneswar: Wednes day was the second evening of ‘Guhari 2025’ a devotional and spiritual music festival organised by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Center in association with the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture at Utkal Ranga Mancha, Bhubaneswar. Ratha Yatra, the journey of the hopes and aspirations of countless people of the world, who witness the journey of the four deities to their aunt’s home. In such an emotional atmosphere, the devotional music performance of the vocalists based on Shree Jagannath left the audience gathered in the festival spellbound. The vocalists of the second evening were Mahaprasad Kar, Anusuya Nath, Basanta Patra, Srusti Surupa, Alok Kundu, Nisiprabha Pani, Pravat Kumar Patra, Dipti Dash and Dibyaranjan Dash. The devotional music based on Shree Jagannath performed by them were Bhuja Tale, Ahe Nilagiri, Dukha Nasana He, Ehi Kathare Mo Mana, Mana Re Hari Bhajana, Patitapabana Bana, Radha Shree Pada Braja, Jai Jagabandhu He Jadu Nandana, Jay Jay Jagannath, etc. They were accompanied by Dushmant Kumar Parida on tabla, Baibhab Kumar Dash on drum, Priti Ranjan Swain on flute, Sudhansu Sekhar Jena on octopad, Chintamani Mishra on keyboard and Sumanta Maharana on Harmonium. Guests of the evening were Eminent Singer Padmashree recipient Smt. Shyamamani Devi; Eminent Odissi Dancer Padmashree recipient Dr. Kum Kum Mohanty; Renowned Singer Smt. Geeta Patnaik; Eminent Scholar Dr Kirtan Narayan Parhi and GKCM Odissi Research Center Administrative Officer Smt. Anuja Tarini Mishra. The program was anchored by Dr. Mrutunjaya Rath.
