Bhadrak: The Office of the DIG Eastern Range, Balasore, Odisha, under the chairmanship of Dr. Satyajit Naik, DIG Eastern Range, recently organized an awareness and sensitization program on mental health at colleges in Bhadrak. The program aimed to promote mental well-being and prevent mental health issues among students, providing a platform for open discussions and awareness on mental health issues. The initiative highlighted the importance of seeking help and support during difficult times and was well-received by the students, who actively participated in the interactive sessions.
Dr. Naik’s leadership and guidance played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the initiative. This program is part of a larger effort to promote mental health awareness and provide support to students in the region, aligning with the vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all, particularly girl students. The Director General of Police (DGP) has also emphasized the importance of creating a secure and nurturing environment for students, especially girls, to thrive academically and emotionally.
The program’s key objectives included promoting mental well-being, preventing mental health issues, and fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students, particularly girls. By organizing such initiatives, the Office of the DIG Eastern Range, Balasore, remains committed to promoting mental well-being and supporting the youth in the region, in line with the vision of the CM and DGP for the safety and well-being of girl students and all students in Odisha.
