Bhubaneswar: In a joint forest raid conducted today, i.e., on 30.01.2026 by the forest wing of Odisha Vigilance on the running of an illegal sawmill without valid license at the Village-Athanga, PS-Niali, Dist-Cuttack, sawmill accessories along with valuable timber of 8.51cft detected and seized. Further, illegal stacking of round teak timber of 50.64 cft near Athanga Primary School also detected and seized. The total seized value of sawmill accessories and 59.15 cft of valuable timber comes to Rs.13,07,866/-.
