Bhubaneswar : Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. of Odisha, Anu Garg, IAS reviewed the expenditure, budget utilisation, and financial projections of the Department of Water Resources (DoWR) in line with the Vikshit Odisha 2036 and Viksit Bharat 2047 development goals across Odisha.
Chairing a meeting at DoWR today with senior officers, DC-cum-ACS Smt. Garg stressed the importance of strategic financial planning to ensure smooth progress of major water resource projects across the State. She underscored timely execution, accurate projections, and optimum utilisation of funds, calling for close coordination among all wings of the department. The review meeting outlined a focused and result-oriented roadmap for the upcoming financial year, reinforcing Odisha’s commitment to long-term State and National development priorities.
